Seasonal Fab

Diddy is still ending his summer in style with his dinner for his fragrance Unforgiveable over in St. Tropez last night:

No this dude didn't. Boy go get some shoes! And I don't want to hear that "he didn't want to get the carpet on the yacht dirty" excuse. If you can afford a yacht, you afford to get it cleaned. Period.

And of course his kids (plus his Godson) kicked it too.

He chillaxed on a boat earlier in the day:

I'm gonna say it. V-NECK SHIRTS ARE NOT OK ON DUDES. Y'all know I love Diddy's fashion sense and his style, but this mess right here is simply unacceptable. I'm just not feelin it. Maybe it's because I have a shirt way more fitted but still quite similar to it....

Ashanti did a photoshoot for Teen People for fall fashions:

She looks quite fabulous.

And here are Rihanna's shots from the new issue of Arena with Beyonce on the cover:

Maybe the Arena folks got confused on who they were shooting too.

Janet was on 106 and Park yesterday. And now that i'm seeing this outfit, it's giving me a headache.

The Randomness:

  1. Kelly Rowland is nt pregnant. Stop the madness people. Her record label division over at Sony BMG dropped an announcement yesterday that she is not preggers and her album will be out as scheduled (well, rescheduled).
  2. I changed the link for Danity Kane's leaked song "One Shot" that I posted yesterday. When I find another link for "Hold Me Down" I'll post it.
  3. Rumor has it that LeToya Luckett debuted at #1 with her new album this first week.
  4. Why are people shooting at a Jermaine Dupri party? Story WTH is going on here?
  5. The Game chunks the duece to G-Unit and Aftermath. Bout damn time.
  6. Papa Knowles is defending his daughter in the B/Toya pre-release fiasco. Here's his official statement:

NEW YORK, July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- An item appearing in the press on Friday, July 28 falsely speculated that the upcoming release and pre-sale date for Beyonce's new album, "B'Day," were set in response to an upcoming album release by LeToya Luckett, a former member of Destiny's Child.

In order to put a stop to these unfounded rumors, Beyonce and her manager, Mathew Knowles, have each issued statements clarifying the facts of the situation. "I have enormous respect and admiration for LeToya as an artist and a business woman and I wish her incredible success with her debut CD and her career," said Beyonce. "LeToya and I have known each other since childhood and, because of all we've been through, I know that we both really care -- and want what's best -- for each other. "We are pleased that LeToya has chosen to include
our House of Dereon designs in her Lady Elle boutique in Houston and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future. "It makes me sad that that people are trying to stir up a controversy where there is none. LeToya makes fantastic music and it would be great if her fans, as well as the press, could simply enjoy it on its own merits and not engage in negative speculation."

"I'm shocked and amazed that this is even an issue," said Mathew
Knowles. "It's standard practice in the music industry for upcoming albums to go on pre-sale well in advance of an in-store date. "From the time Beyonce began working on her new album, 'B'Day,' we wanted to release it in early September to coincide with her 25th birthday on September 4. Our pre-sale strategy is a logical and sensible lead-in to that target date and has nothing to do with the scheduled releases of any other albums by any other artists."
