So Whitney is doing her version of giving back:

She's auctioning off many of her keepsakes and clothes--probably to make some money after her financial fiasco of damn near losing her house. According to Page Six, "Among the items on the block are 13 of Houston's Dolce & Gabbana bustier bras adorned with animal prints and sequins; four velvet bodysuits with "WH" logos; six black stretch pants; several gold, black, white and red evening dresses; and 16 wardrobe cases."

And Whit is on some "I'm Not Gon' Cry" stuff selling 16 of Bobby's music awards. Funny funny.
Here are more pics (other than the MiMi ones from yesterday) of celebs at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls opening yesterday:

Sydney Portier went to South Africa for the occasion.
Babyface and L.A. Ried made the trip.
And it looks like everything is still gravy with Malaak and Chris Rock.

And it looks like Beyonce got played by the Academy. They struck her name from the writing credits for "Listen" because writing credits could only be given to a max of 3 people. There were 4 people total originally credited for the song. But word has not surfaced why her name was the one to be striken from the list. So even if "Listen" wins the gold man...no Oscar (songwise) for Bey.
The Randomness:
- Anybody else wach Dirt last night? They better be lucky the show was good seeing that it's taking the place of my precious Nip/Tuck after the season ended a couple weeks ago. Anyways, the show is like a fictional backstage pass into the makings of a celeb gossip world and the lengths celebs go to in order to be famous--gotta love it.
Stay tuned!
