64th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Clearly the theme for last night's Golden Globes was Grown and Sexy. Black Hollywood and our other fave celebs did it up fabulously:

I couldn't be happier for CGU President Jennifer Hudson. She took home the Best Supporting Actress award and killed the red carpet and show while doing it. She rocked the Vera Wang fabulously. And the makeup and hair was on point too.


Grey's Anatomy writer and creator Shonda Rhimes was there looking classy:


I'm not a fan of floral print, but she took home the award for Best Television Series/Drama for "Grey's Anatomy"...so she can do as she pleases.

Salma Hayek was there looking curvalicious in her signature white drapey dress. Hot. And congrats to another woman of color (who is the writer/creator of "Ugly Betty") for winning the Best Television Series/Comedy.

Tanika Ray looked like the class hoochie going to prom. That's not necessarily a bad thing though...

And I love the understated fabulousness of America Ferrera. No wonder she won Best Actress in a Television Series/Comedy for "Ugly Betty".


Jamie Foxx rocked the red carpet in a hot tux and his signature shades:

Y'all kow I have probs with wearing shades indoors though. That ish makes not a lick of sense.

Who ran up behind Vanessa Williams and did a weave-run-by tagging this mess to her damn head?

Here's the thing about that dried out jherri curl of a wig on her head: It didn't look this bad on tv, but her stylist still needs to be slapped. Twice.

The rest of the look was gorgeous though. Are we sure this woman is in her 40's?

Beyonce is the newest victim of one who mistook the red carpet for her own personal photoshoot:

She did the damn thing in that dress though.

Eddie and his now reduced to simple arm candy girlfriend Tracey Edmunds were there:

And Eddie/Jimy Early won the Best Supporting Actor/Musical or Comedy Award.

Diddy came through.

Forest and Keisha Whitaker looked quite fab as a couple. Congrats to Forest for nabbing the Best Actor/Drama Award for The Last King of Scotland.

For once, I wasn't feeling Eva's look at all.

Jigga came out to support his girl...and probably gave a shoulder to cry on. I know she was salty, but Meryl Streep had that whole Best Actress/Comedy or Musical category on lock.

Jennifer had the whole slightly understated Hollywood glam look just running all up and through the night. She even sounds like she's had somespeech/media coach training. Just a good look all around. And that dude Jigga has done it again. This show wasn't even about him but he killed the fellas in the competition. The back satin tie with the diamond clip is just hot. Purple labels indeed. And his swagger was RIGHT in these pics.
