The Gossip-ish

Hollywood's elite joined Sony Computer Entertainment America for a "First Look" at the PLAYSTATION 3 party yesterday. It went down in Beverly Hills:

I don't know what it is about Shar that she just never looks....quite....right. At least she's looking happier than usual. Karma can be quite satisfying.

Y'all know Meghan Good was there:

Looking fab.

Um Marlon...

Just go back to bed.

And Christina Milian was in that piece looking cute as usual:

Nice.

Diddy was there to perform. Ummm what's really goin on with Nicole??
Raven Simone made an appearance:

Hmmm maybe not the best cut dress for her. I still gots love for Ray though.

Speaking of Raven, check out her new music:

It's called "Gravity" and you can listen here. {Thanks Kevin}

Beyonce and Eva Longoria hit up the L'Oreal Legends Gala benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. It went down last night at the American Museum of Natural History:

What the hell is Eva rockin?

Pssst...B....your lacefront glue is all UP on the side of your face. Work that out boo.

But on the whole, my girl was looking hella fab. And do we need to reassess her canceled membership into the CGU? Looks like she's grabbing those curves back...

Kerry Washington and her fiance David Moscow also hit up the L'Oreal event:

I wonder if this is another one of those long term engagement plans...

Chris Rock was spotted out and about Monday:

I hear he's told some media sources that the "divorce talk" concerning him and Malaak isn't true. But I don't believe him.

The fabulous J-Lo is rocking the cover of Bazaar:

Pretty.

And now for some YBF lookalike funnies:

Serena and 50 cent

New York and Lambchop

{Thanks Kiki} Uncanny I tell you....

Ciara is on her hustle and has an accompanying DVD with her new LP Evolution dropping Dec. 5th. Here's a sneak peek:

You watching this Assie?

Fashion Fab:

It's creeping up on winter time folks and that does NOT mean you can't be warm AND cute. Professional style writer and YBF fan Shannae Ingleton is a guest
contributer for YBF's Fashion Fab today. She's a writer for Peace Magazine and Holt Renfrow's Muse. And be sure to check out her myspace page. Here's Shannae's Fashion Fab piece for YBF....

Although some people are still tryin to roll out in their knee high, pointy toed stiletto get-ups from 2001, rockin chunky boots with denim has been – and still is – the ish for Fall. But for the fab chicks who want to upgrade – or I guess in this case downgrade – Ankle booties are it – with or without jeans. Check Joy, Eva and Cassie for tips on how to make this look yours…

Cassie can’t sing or dance to save her life, but she always comes correct on the style tip – no lie.

Personal faves: Jeffrey Campbell black patent leather booties and Corso Como ‘Maxine’ Ankle Boot

The latest transition from runway to reality is the highrise pant/jean. Take heed though; Banana backside is not fab. So if you’re flat in the back maybe you should sit out on this one or run to the gym and get some junk in that trunk. Take some notes from Mya & Ciara on how to do it right:

Am I the only one who watches Promise everyday on Youtube for the moves? My girl knows how to work it in them jeans.

My pick: Grey Ant Highrise Pants

Now for the dudes:

I am a personal fan of tapered jeans for men, but I won’t go there - Yet. I’m not tryin to get exiled right out the gates. Us Canadians need to throw a bit of European Flavor in the mix… which brings me to my style tip for men. Rocking a scarf as an accessory. In my opinion, it gives men that “I know who I am, I know where I’m going and I keep it sexy” look. Check out how Mario and KanyĆ© did it:

And by the way… tapered jeans are the ish when done right…. I’ll ease that one in on you in due time..

Favorites: The Gucci Winter Scarf and the Louis Vuitton Scarf

Stay fabulous!
