Kelis went and lost her damn mind up on somebody's stage recently {possibly NSFW} :

Ummm...was Nas blindfolded somehere when you did this ish KeKe? Damn shame.

And moving on to someone who would definitely be shamed by KeKe's stunt....the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial had its ground breaking ceremony here in DC this afternoon. Lots of celebs showed up for this historic event on the Mall:

Lady O came to deliver her speech about how Dr. King has influenced the purpose of her life.

Al Sharpton of course came out too.

Russell Simmons accompanied Maya Angelou who also made a moving speech:

MLK's family Bernice and Yolanda King were there with Bill Clinton.

And so was Condi, Jesse J., and Gladys Knight. You can check out the entire article about the ceremony here. They will all be partying it up at a gala tonight here in DC to celebrate even more. I guess my invite got lost in the mail.....

Beyonce jet-setted to london this weekend to perform at the Radio One station. Here's some pics of her leaving her hotel at the Mandarin Oriental:

Those shoes are starting to boil my nerves.

And pics from her performance:

Fab as usual.

Halle B. was spotted shopping on Sunset Plaza this weekend:

So I guess this is the only way to pass time between movies.

The Out 100 Awards went down this past Friday at Capitale in NY:

Now y'all know I would bow down to the uberly fabulous Iman in a second--but this oversized bow is killing me. Real talk.

Amerie was there looking minimal and hot:

Gorgeous.

Kelis also stepped out in her usual "different" gear:

Interesting.

And Tyra Banks' best friend Kevin Aviance was there too:

He was the one who went on Tyra's show a while back because he was brutally and physically attacked for being gay.

My girl Tamia is on the comeback tip. Her new album Between Friends finally drops tomorrow and she did a new interview with the folks over at The Singers Room. Loves it.

I stopped watching Dancing With The Stars after about a month of the "viewers" allowing that no dancing ass chick Sara Evans to stay. But I'm glad to see Emmit S. is one of the finalists:

He and his partner Cheryl Burke hit up the Dallas Cowboys game yesterday to campaign for people to vote for them tomorrow night.

Egypt of NY's Egypt and Ashy Morning Radio Show had a birthday party Friday night:

Egypt and Ashy Larry

Fab chick Bre came out to celebrate with Egypt:

And so did Darrin Henson:

Fun times.

I swear I had to look at this pic for a good couple minutes to decided if this was Supahead or Eve:

But then I remembered the only person with those ugly tatts is nobody but E-V-E. She hit up the Born to Lead Awards by Cosmo Girl at the Supper Club in NY today.

At least the outfit was cute.

Here's Young Jeezy's new album cover for his newest LP Inspiration: Thug Motivation II releasing 12/12:

The Randomness:

  1. Check out the trailer for Tyler Perry's new movie Daddy's Little Girls here. This looks oh so good. I posted some stills from the movie a while back.

Keep it fab!
