Hip-Hop Don't Stop

So I wasn't going to post these pics of VH-1's Hip-Hop Honors Show that was taped this past Saturday, but then when I was deleting them--I saw just how foolish many of them were:

Ice-T was there still rockin' that thing on his arm called CoCo.

Questlove of The Roots hit up the carpet.

The sad thing is, this is one of the more subdued looks for Kim.

Lil Jon was there.

Something about MC Lyte's look works for me. Still fab chick.

*Sigh* Oh Remy.

None other than Bootsy C.

Wow. I can't take it.

Wendy hit up the red carpet before hitting up her own party.

FAB and Russey kicked it on the red carpet.

Attack of the ill-fitting jeans. I still gots love for Salt-N-Peppa though.

Ice Cube and his wife looked cool on the carpet.

Da Brat hasn't changed a damn thing about herself.

Bone, Lil Eazy E, and Jeezy kicked it backstage.

Stop with the S-Curl nonsense AJ.

And surprisingly, the show looked like it was poppin':

Andre and Big Boi came out to support Hip-Hop.

George Clinton did his thizzle in the show. And yes, that's who you think it is in the background:

Ms. Badu. She is definitely original.

Dubb C., Ice Cube, Xzibit, and Lil Jon

Wait...is this Ice Cube and crew saluting his NWA days? Maaaaaan hold up. I feel old as all hell. Fight the power!

Xzibit did another performance.

That sexy man Common performed.

Speaking of sexy men:

I know that tilted cap anywhere. Method Man's fine self chilled with Ice Cube in the audience during the show.

MC Lyte and Yo-Yo were honored in the show and none other than Lil Kim did the honoring:

Lil Kim, Yo-Yo, and MC Lyte

Loves it! She's got the early 90's track suit game on lock I see.

Q-Tip, Diddy, and Fabolous did a throwback performance.

And of course, y'all already know Ice-T was the host.

Last year's show was a let down. But this one looks pretty cool. It airs October 17th. I'll be watching....
