Oh yes folks. It's that time again. Today is the first day of Olympus Fashion Week Fall 2006.

Hmmm where's B you ask? She and Hov were spotted in Detroit today shopping so most likely she's at all the Superbowl festivities. Regardless, she needs to come back soon cuz it looks like somebody's tryna take her spot. Mmmhmm. B is supposedly slated to sit front row at the Naeem Khan fashion show this Sunday...he designed her outfits for Dreamgirls. So who knows.

Tina: “ When I was pregnant with Beyonce, my husband [Matthew] would sing to my stomach, so she came out responding to music. There was this Stevie Wonder song [Do I Do]. We used to sing that to her and clap; she wasn’t even walking yet, but she’d bang her head so hard to that song. She just went crazy.”
Beyonce: “As a kid, I would go to my mom’s hair salon and perform for all her clients. I’m sure they didn’t feel like seeing a 9-year-old singing all up in their face. But that was my stage.”
Tina: “When Destiny’s Child [with Kelly Rowland, Letoya Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson] got a record deal in 1996, the girls started traveling. They were just 15 or 16, so I traveled with them. I was adamant about protecting them from perils of the music business. People wanted to use profanity and smoke weed, so I watched them like a hawk. Now we talk every day. But I try to give her space. I let her call me.”
Beyonce: “We can drive each other crazy, but when that happens, it’s time for her to go home! The only thing we argue about is clothes [they have a clothing line together, House of Dereon]. But we can’t stay mad for long. If I say something crazy to her or she says something crazy to me and we hang up mad, a minute later one of us is calling to apologize.”
Tina: “I’ve taught her that your family comes first. When you go home, you don’t have all the glamour. You just have to live with yourself…I hope Beyonce can slow down so she can give me some grandchildren! Beyonce needs to have a baby now!”
Beyonce: “Has she mentioned that she wants grandchildren?”
